Bhindi sabzi is prepared instantly on flame but it can be made more quickly and easily in microwave. Today we'll prepare bhindi in microwave.
Wash bhindi thoroughly and place in a sieve to dry or clean it with a cloth. Remove the stalk from both sides and cut bhindi lengthwise from center in two halves.
Place the bhindi in microwave safe bowl and add coriander powder, salt, asafoetida, cumin powder, mango powder, turmeric powder, fennel powder, red chilly powder, garam masala and oil into it. Mix all ingredients really well.
When okra is coated nicely with spices, cover the bowl and place it in microwave for 3 minutes. Check later.
Take out bowl from microwave, stir the sabzi nicely and keep back the bowl in microwave (without lid) and cook for 2 more minutes.
Bhindi is ready, add green coriander into it and mix well. Serve bhindi with paranthas, chappati or poori and relish eating.
