Aloo Kofta Curry Recipe

Aloo Kofta curry is delicious. If you are disgusted with the day to day dish, you can prepare Aloo Kofta Curry.

Ingredients for Aloo Kofta Curry

  • Potatoes - 500 Gms
  • Araroot - 50 Gms
  • Salt- (According to taste)
  • Green Coriander- 1 table spoon)
  • Cashew nuts- 10 to 12 (cut cashew nuts into 5-6 thin pices)
  • Dry raisins - 30 (Remove stems)
  • Oil- To fry

For Tari

  • Tomato- 3 Medium size
  • Green Chilli- 3
  • Ginger- (1 inch in length)
  • Cream- 100 Gms
  • Oil- 2 table spoon
  • Cumin Seeds- 1/2 table spoon
  • Turmeric Powder- 1/4 small spoon
  • Coriander Powder-1 small spoon
  • Res Chilli- 1/4 small spoon
  • Garam masala- 1/4 small spoon
  • Green Coriander- 1 table spoon ( thin and sliced)
 

How to make Aloo Kofta Curry:

Boil the potatoes, allow them to cool naturally and peel perfectly. Grate the potatoes and add salt and green coriander in it and mush it like flour. The mixture for kofta is ready.
 
Put the oil into the pan and heat the pan. Take some amount of mixture and flatten it. Put 2 to 3 cashew nuts and raisins on it and close this. Make a round shape of it and put it into the hot oil. You can put 5 to 6 koftas into the pan at a time. Turnover the kofta and fry it properly until it turns brown. Take out the kofta in a plate. Follow this method for making rest of the koftas.

Tari

For the preparation of tari, grind tomato, green chilli, ginger, cashew nuts and mix them well.
 
Put the oil into the pan and heat the pan. Put coriander into the pan. when the coriander starts frying, put turmeric powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder into the pan. Then put paste of tomato, green chilli and ginger into the pan and fry them properly until it turns into granules. Put this masala into the cream and fry it until the oil afloat on the masala.
 
Pour 350 Gms of water into the masala. When the water starts boiling, cook it for 3 to 4 minutes for preparing Tari.
 
When you want to eat this kofta, you may put it into the tari and garnish it with coriander. You can serve and eat kofta with bread, chapatti, naan and rice.
