Khajoor Shake

Khajoor (dates) shake is very delicious and also very nutritious. Khajoor shake is complete blend of vitamins, sugar, proteins, carbohydrates and minerals and is hence named as tonic shake. It is a good shake that can be consumed during navratras.
 
Try making this shake during summers in cold milk and in warm milk during winters. This shake protects you from common cold and cough.

Ingredients for Khajoor Milk Shake

  • Milk - 2 cup
  • Khajoor (dates) - 12
  • Cashew nuts - 3-4
  • Green cardamom- 2
  • Ice cubes - 1 cup (if you prefer)
 

How to make Khajoor Shake

Rinse the dates thoroughly, remove the stalk and cut into thin slices.
 
Cut cashew nuts into small pieces. Peel cardamom and make powder from it.
 
Place khajoor pieces in mixture grinder, add some milk and make a fine paste. Now add cardamom in rest of milk and mix nicely.
 
Also add ice cubes and mix again.
 
Khajoor shake is ready; serve in a glass and garnish with cashew nuts.
 

Suggestion:

Dates are very sweet, so don’t add sugar in shake. If you like having more sugar then add honey or sugar as per you’re your preference. You can also add vanilla ice cream or chocolate ice cream before serving.
Strain shake before serving if you want.
